Belarus takes in over 57,000 Ukrainian citizens since year-start

MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – A total of 57,466 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Of them 41,807 came to Belarus via Poland, 13,391 via Lithuania, 2,258 via Latvia, and 10 from Ukraine.

A total of 132,170 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,900 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 88,312 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 23,541 via Lithuania and 4,417 via Latvia.
