Belarus takes in over 35,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) – A total of 35,693 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the State Border Committee, 25,967 came to Belarus via Poland, 7,811 via Lithuania and 1,915 via Latvia.

A total of 109,397 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 72,472 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 17,961 via Lithuania and 4,074 via Latvia.
