MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) -Belarusian Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Andrei Khudyk met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Belarus Mohammed Omer Musa Ali, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian environmental ministry.
In accordance with the government resolution No. 160, the minister of natural resources and environmental protection of the Republic of Belarus is the head of the Belarusian part of the Belarusian-Sudanese joint commission on cooperation.
The head of the diplomatic mission informed Andrei Khudyk about the current state of affairs in Sudan. The minister expressed his sympathy for the situation in the Sudan and hope for the improvement and early normalization of the situation.
The parties noted the importance of further development of bilateral Belarusian-Sudanese relations across the entire range of areas of mutual interest.
At the end of the talks, the Belarusian minister expressed hope that the parties would soon hold the 5th meeting of the Belarusian-Sudanese joint commission on cooperation, which would contribute to further deepening cooperation between the states.
