MINSK, 28 July (BelTA) – Belarus hopes for closer cooperation with Pakistan in the education sector, Belarus’ Vice Premier Natalia Kochanova said as she met with a delegation from Pakistan on 28 July, BelTA informs.
According to her, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko paid an official visit to the country not long ago. “The visit resulted in a number of governmental agreements to promote bilateral cooperation in the social sector and education in particular. We will be happy to have fruitful cooperation,” Natalia Kochanova said.
Great attention is attached to education issues in Belarus. “Today we can boast our well-developed system of personnel training,” Natalia Kochanova stressed. The Vice Premier expressed confidence that this time’s visit of the Pakistani delegation to Belarus would make another step to the rapprochement of the education systems of the two countries.
According to Natalia Kachanova, Belarus is a reliable partner. As for Belarus-Pakistan relations, the Vice Premier stressed that they are fruitful.
Federal Secretary on Education and Professional Training of the Government of Pakistan Muhammad Imtiaz Tajwar thanked the Belarusian side for the invitation to visit the country. As was stressed, the meeting came ahead of a visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Belarus.
