Belarus, Saudi Arabia discuss ways to step up political dialogue

MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held a meeting on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in South Africa, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The bilateral agenda is rich, the ministry said. “The Belarusian delegation discusses intensification of political dialogue, the schedule of contacts and visits at various levels, economy and mutual trade, the operation of the joint intergovernmental committee, visa facilitation prospects and other topical issues,” the ministry said.

The parties also confirmed similar views on key issues of the current global agenda. Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud thanked Belarus for supporting Riyadh's candidacy to host EXPO 2030.
