MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to strengthen cooperation with Uzbekistan, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with the members of the public, representatives of the Belarusian and foreign mass media on 3 February, BelTA informs.
“We hope to establish very good relations with the new leadership of Uzbekistan,” the head of state stressed. Alexander Lukashenko spoke in positive terms about the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who was elected after the death of Islam Karimov and about his team.
“We hope to strengthen cooperation with Uzbekistan, they are prepared for it,” the Belarusian President said.
