MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko promised to teach Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, to play ice hockey as the two met on 26 September, BelTA has learned.
Alan Duncan said he had played field hockey at school and added that unfortunately he would not be, thus, able to join the Belarus President’s ice hockey team.
“We are ready to teach you, if there is such a wish,” the president said.
The British minister stressed that he is always ready to learn something new.
