MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Alexander Surikov, who served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus in 2006-2018, has been awarded with the Order of Honor. The corresponding decree was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
The diplomat has been honored in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of Belarusian-Russian integration and bilateral relations, the strengthening of the Union State ties and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
