MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – New responsible jobs should not be offered to executives and civil servants, who demonstrate unsatisfactory performance doing their previous jobs. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he made decisions concerning the appointment of heads of municipal government agencies on 13 June, BelTA has learned.
“If you are not up to the task, you are better off doing the job you’ve been trained to do. The rule must apply to everyone. We have to make up our minds once and for all in this regard,” stressed the Belarusian leader.
At the same time good executives should be granted serious support, particularly heads of district administrations. “Let me warn you that, unfortunately, we have no time to spare for rest and recreation. You are still going to stay on the frontline of working with people face to face,” said the head of state.
