MINSK, 14 March (BeTA) – The National Center of Legal Information (NCLI) of Belarus is developing cooperation with Chinese organizations, BelTA learned from the national legal Internet portal.
An NCLI delegation has recently visited China to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations beween Belarus and China. NCLI Director Yevgeny Kovalenko met with Li Lin, Director of the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). The parties signed a protocol of intent to develop cooperation and established a legal framework necessary for strengthening the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in information, education and science.
Plans have been made to set up a legal information reference center at the CASS Institute of Law. The center will provide free access to everyone interested in the Belarusian system of law.
The Chinese side was also briefed on NCLI’s key activities, the state system of legal information of Belarus, and the legal information resources created and maintained by the NCLI.
