MINSK, 8 January (BelTA) - Belarus and Nicaragua have mutually abolished visa requirements, BelTA learned from the National Legal Portal.
It is specified that the corresponding agreement was signed between the government of the Republic of Belarus and the government of the Republic of Nicaragua. It is also noted that the waiving of visa requirements by the countries will contribute to relations of friendship and cooperation between the states, and will facilitate the further development of bilateral relations in all areas.
The rules provide for staying in both Nicaragua and Belarus for up to 90 days during a year without a visa. If a visitor plans to stay in the countries for more than three months, they must obtain a visa at the diplomatic mission or the consulate before entry.
The agreement has been concluded for an indefinite period of time and enters into force thirty days after both the parties have notified each other in writing that the procedures required for the entry into force of the agreement in their respective countries have been complied with.
