Belarus, Nicaragua discuss food supplies, possible cooperation in food industry

MOSCOW, 3 May (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Russian Federation and concurrently to Belarus Alba Azucena Torres Meji in Moscow on 3 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

"The parties exchanged views on the status of the agreements on the development of Belarusian-Nicaraguan cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for launching mutual food supplies, possible cooperation in the food industry. Current issues of the formation of the legal framework for bilateral cooperation were considered too," the press service informed.

"The parties also discussed the schedule of the next Belarus-Nicaragua meetings at various levels," the diplomatic mission added.
