MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – A joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Monaco was signed at the Belarusian Embassy in France on 15 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the embassy.
The joint communique reads that the diplomatic relations were established on the day of its signing. The relations will be developing in accordance with the UN Charter and the international law to consolidate peace and security. They will be based on the principles of equality among nations, respect for national sovereignty, independence, international arrangements, territorial integrity and non-interference in the internal affairs of countries.
The establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Monaco will facilitate the development of bilateral ties in all cooperation fields, the embassy said.
Monaco is the 175th country to establish diplomatic relations with Belarus.
