MOSCOW, 3 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Luxembourg plan to develop political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia after Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Russian Federation Jean-Claude Knebeler in Moscow on 3 November.
“The parties discussed the issues related to bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian areas, development of the legal framework of bilateral relations,” the press service noted.
The diplomatic relations between Belarus and Luxembourg were established on 9 July 1992. The bilateral trade totaled $6.7 million in 2015.
