MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) – Director of Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park Vsevolod Yanchevsky met with Kazakhstan’s Information and Communication Minister Dauren Abayev in Minsk on 28 November, BelTA has learned.
The sides discussed the prospects for developing startup ecosystems and venture financing institutes in Belarus and Kazakhstan, and exchanged views on the possibility of setting up a subcommission on digital economy development (to be established in the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation).
Vsevolod Yanchevsky and Dauren Abayev also touched upon mutual agreements on exchanging practical experience in blockchain technology and related regulations.
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed an agreement on Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation in new and high technologies.
