Belarus’ Information Ministry to cooperate with China’s National Radio and Television Administration

MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Information Minister Vladimir Pertsov met with Director of the National Radio and Television Administration of the People’s Republic of China Cao Shumin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Television Festival in Nanjing on 25 September, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry.

The meeting participants explored the possibilities of Belarus-China interaction in the information sector and other topical issues of interstate relations.

The ministry recalled that the international communication office of Gansu Province was inaugurated in Minsk in August 2023.

“We can say with confidence that our regions are getting closer in the information field. The opening of the office will certainly open up more opportunities for joint projects in the information space,” Vladimir Pertsov emphasized.
 
The Information Ministry of Belarus and the National Radio and Television Administration of the People’s Republic of China signed a cooperation agreement in the field of radio broadcasting and television on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Television Festival.
