Belarus, Indonesia to expand legal framework of cooperation

MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with Indonesian Ambassador to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Jose Antonio Morato Tavares on 14 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the most important areas of Belarusian-Indonesian cooperation, including political, trade, economic, educational and cultural sectors, and also cooperation between the two countries in international organizations.

Special attention was paid to planning joint bilateral events and expanding the legal framework.

The parties confirmed mutual interest in expanding cooperation between government bodies and building up direct business contacts.
