MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – The agreements reached in Minsk will be elaborated at the next session of the Belarusian-Indonesian intergovernmental commission which will take place in the Belarusian capital at the beginning of summer, Speaker of the Regional Representative Council of the People’ Consultative Assembly of Indonesia Irman Gusman said after the meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 25 May, BelTA has learned.
Irman Gusman expressed confidence that Belarus and Indonesia should enhance all-round cooperation between the states, parliaments, and in business. In his words, the Belarusian-Indonesian contacts “should not be limited to trade and investments, they should also include science, education, culture, youth policy and sport.” “This is an important supplement which shapes our future,” he said.
The speaker of the Indonesian parliament was satisfied with the negotiations in Minsk and the outlined agreements. He believes that the countries have reached a lot within 23 years of diplomatic relations.
