MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The memorandum of understanding between the National Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus and the Indian state broadcasting company Prasar Bharati on cooperation in broadcasting was signed in Minsk during the visit of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to Belarus, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company.
The international agreement envisages an exchange of programs in culture, education, science, entertainment, sport and news.
Prasar Bharati is India’s largest public broadcaster and the first Indian television and radio corporation to establish relations with the Belarusian Television and Radio Company. The ties will promote development and strengthening of friendly relations, the expansion of cooperation in broadcasting, and the consolidation of mutual relations in the economic and cultural sectors, the press service said.
