MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Hungary will sign a program on cultural cooperation. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky and Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary Gergely Prohle, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed possible intensification and specification of cooperation in culture and education. The sides expressed mutual interest in signing a program on cultural cooperation in the near future. The program will include a list of concrete events, the press service noted. The similar program on cooperation in education signed in 2014 promoted expansion of student exchanges between the two countries.
Alexander Khainovsky also told the Hungarian representative about the main cultural events held in Belarus and invited the Hungarian side to take an active part in them.
