Belarus hosts over 744,000 visa-waiver visitors

MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – A total of 744,718 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

This included 466,466 citizens of Lithuania, 52,218 non-citizens and 170,606 citizens of Latvia, and 55,428 Polish citizens.

Since the start of the year, Belarus has welcomed 359,732 residents of the neighboring EU states, including 218,203 citizens of Lithuania, 82,472 citizens and 25,339 non-citizens of Latvia, and 33,718 Polish citizens.
