MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – Since the start of this year, 377,935 residents of the neighboring EU states of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have taken advantage of the visa waiver to come to Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
After a series of days off up till now, about 4,000 residents of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have visited Belarus using the visa waiver. The majority of them (2,096 people) have come from Lithuania.
Since the start of this year, 377,935 tourists from the neighboring EU states have arrived in Belarus visa-free. This included 228,688 citizens of Lithuania, 86,493 citizens and 26,404 non-citizens of Latvia, and 36,350 Polish citizens.
Some 762,921 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, including 476,951 citizens of Lithuania, 53,283 non-citizens and 174,627 citizens of Latvia, and 58,060 Polish citizens.
