MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarus has hosted almost 600,000 arrivals from the neighboring EU countries since the launch of the visa-waiver program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
A total of 599,699 citizens of the neighboring EU states took advantage of the program to visit Belarus, including 387,064 citizens of Lithuania, 40,258 non-citizens and 131,437 citizens of Latvia, and 40,940 Polish citizens.
Since the start of the year, Belarus has welcomed 214,713 visitors from the neighboring EU states: 138,801 citizens of Lithuania, 43,303 citizens and 13,379 non-citizens of Latvia, and 19,230 Polish citizens.
