Belarus’ honorary consul in Uruguay awarded MFA’s medal

MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – On behalf of the minister of foreign affairs of Belarus Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Brazil Sergei Lukashevich awarded Belarus’ Honorary Consul in Uruguay Sebastián Asis Andrzejuk the anniversary medal “100 years of the diplomatic service of Belarus”, BelTA  learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Brazilian and Uruguayan establishment.

“The parties emphasized the importance of promoting Belarus in the Uruguayan society and among business circles, and giving impetus to Belarus-Uruguay cooperation with the assistance of the honorary consul,” the embassy noted.
