MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik received the copy of the credentials of non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Belarus Oheneba Lesley Akua Opoku-Ware, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
Sergei Aleinik congratulated the ambassador of Ghana on the start of her second diplomatic mission in Belarus. The parties took note of the high level of interaction within the framework of international organizations and similarity of positions on key international issues. The parties reaffirmed the commitment to intensifying bilateral contacts in political, economic and humanitarian matters.
The parties also discussed cooperation in agriculture and food security, healthcare, the mining industry, and ways of developing the legal framework of cooperation.
