MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Interior Minister Igor Shunevich met with newly-appointed Ambassador Extraoridnary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Belarus Valeri Kvaratskhelia, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Interior Ministry.
The meeting took place in the Interior Ministry. The parties discussed the promising areas of bilateral cooperation in the law enforcement sector. The meeting was also attended by Georgian police attache Giorgi Modebadze and head of the international cooperation department of the Belarusian police agency Mikhail Starikovich.
The parties expressed readiness to strengthen and expand cooperation, and intensify contacts between Georgian and Belarusian law enforcers.
