MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – The heads of the Security Council of Belarus and the National Security Council (NSC) of Georgia have met in Minsk as part of the official visit of Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili to Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus.
Stanislav Zas, State Secretary of Belarus’ Security Council, met with Davit Rakviashvili, Secretary of the National Security Council, Assistant to the President of Georgia on National Security Issues, to discuss prospects for strengthening mutually beneficial ties.
The parties emphasized the need to step up the cooperation between the national security agencies of Belarus and Georgia.
