MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Egypt have discussed prospects for cooperation between universities, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt.
This matter was in focus of a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentiev and Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.
“The parties discussed Belarus-Egypt cooperation in higher education. They hailed the level of cooperation in academic affairs and research between Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Kafrelsheikh University and their Belarusian partners: Belarusian State University, Belarusian State Medical University, and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. Sergei Terentiev and Khaled Abdel Ghaffar agreed to facilitate the cooperation between universities of the two countries,” the embassy noted.
The parties also discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral visits and high-level events.
