MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – Minsk First Vice Mayor Nadezhda Lazarevich is taking part in the International Forum of Mayors and Vice-Mayors marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk City Hall.
“Truth is always born in dialogue, and we are interested in all foreign projects. This way we learn how other capitals develop. Their experience will no doubt benefit us, because we all work and live for the sake of our cities and peoples,” Nadezhda Lazarevich said.
She emphasized that interregional interaction was the basis for the development of both national and world economy and trade. Strengthening ties between regions leads to the expansion of competitive opportunities and production potential, accelerating economic growth of regions and countries as a whole.
“We strive for mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas, for the implementation of economic, investment, innovation and social projects that would be beneficial to our partners, correspond to their interests and needs,” Nadezhda Lazarevich said.
Attending the forum are representatives of 20 countries, including Russia, China, Montenegro, Albania, Cyprus, Mozambique, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan and Ukraine.
