Belarus’ ambassador attends ESCAP Advisory Committee meeting

MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov took part as a Permanent Observer in the meeting of the Advisory Committee of Permanent and other Representatives designated by the member countries of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) on 10 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam.

The participants of the event discussed cooperation in various areas, including energy, climate, population, macroeconomic policy, and digitalization. They also talked over the preparation of relevant activities planned for 2023-2024.

The parties paid special attention to the contribution of ESCAP to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
