Belarus admits over 33,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 21 July (BelTA) – Over 33,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Since the start of the year Belarus admitted 33,032 citizens of Ukraine: 24,046 came to Belarus via Poland, 7,133- via Lithuania and 1,853 - via Latvia.

A total of 107 736 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 70,551,citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 17,283- via Lithuania and 4,012- via Latvia.
