Belarus admits almost 62,000 Ukrainian citizens since year-start

MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – Over 61,986 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Of them 44,804 came to Belarus via Poland, 14,886 - via Lithuania and 2,275 - via Latvia and 21 persons from Ukraine.

A total of 136,690 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,991 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 91,309 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 25,036 - via Lithuania and 4,434 - via Latvia.
