Belarus admits almost 43,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – A total of 42,899 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the State Border Committee, 31,274 Ukrainians came to Belarus via Poland, 9,514 - via Lithuania and 2,111 - via Latvia.

A total of 117,603 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 77,779citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 19,664 - via Lithuania and 4,270 - via Latvia.
