Belarus admits almost 28,000 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – A total of 27,876 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 20,246 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 5,937 via Lithuania and 1,693 via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus has admitted 102,580 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 66,751 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 16,087 via Lithuania and 3,852 via Latvia.
