Belarus admits about 2,300 Ukrainian citizens since 2024 year-start

MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – Belarus has admitted 2,284 citizens of Ukraine since the beginning of the year, BelTA has learned from the State Border Committee.

Out of 2,284 arrivals, 1,576 Ukrainian citizens came to Belarus from Poland, 687 – from Lithuania, 21 – from Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, 148,774 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus: 15,916 crossed the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 99,364 came from Poland, 28,937 - from Lithuania, and 4,557 – from  Latvia.
