MOSCOW, 27 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Russia Andreas Friganas met in Moscow on 27 September to discuss the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.
“The sides exchanged opinions on the enhancement of Belarus-Greece cooperation in trade and economy,” the press release of the press service reads. “There is mutual interest in the development of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the expansion of the legal framework of bilateral relations.”
The protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Hellenic Republic was signed on 5 March 1992. The bilateral trade turnover made up $31.29 million in 2015.
