KIEV, 21 July (BelTA) – Kiev is hosting a Belarusian-Ukrainian business forum, BelTA has learned.
The forum will consider issues related to cooperation between businessmen of the two countries. Belarusian participants will get an opportunity to hold talks with representatives of Ukrainian companies interested in developing cooperation in the areas such as mechanical engineering, industrial production, agriculture, petrochemistry, energy and electrical technology, construction and infrastructure development, transport, tourism, pharmaceutics.
The Belarusian delegation and Ukrainian businessmen plan to sign bilateral contacts and agreements. Contracts are estimated at $40 million.
The consultative council on business cooperation will meet to consider promising areas for the development of the Belarusian-Ukrainian trade and economic cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union and Ukraine’s cooperation with the EU, discuss doing business issues.
