MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ machinery maker Amkodor and Russia’s Ulyanovsk Oblast have signed a cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
A delegation of Ulyanovsk Oblast led by Governor Alexei Russkikh visited Amkodor.
The Ulyanovsk Oblast delegation familiarized themselves with the holding company and studied its product assortment. During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation prospects and a possibility to forge new partnerships.
The meeting resulted in signing a cooperation agreement between the Ulyanovsk Oblast government and Amkodor. The document is viewed as an important stepping stone towards stronger partnerships between the region and the holding company.
Amkodor was established in 1927. The company consists of 30 legal entities, 22 factories that produce more than 6,500 products, including 135 models and modifications of special-purpose and agricultural vehicles and machines. All Amkodor enterprises are integrated into a single technological chain. Each member specializes in specific machines, units and assemblies. Amkodor constantly develops new models of machines and vehicles and improves existing ones.
